Russ Cooper joined TMG Partners in 2026 as a Partner, bringing over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, primarily in capital transactions as both a principal and a broker. At TMG, he supports the firm’s growth through acquisition pursuits and executing business plans across the Bay Area.

Previously, Russ was a Managing Director at Spear Street Capital, where he focused on acquisitions and asset management across the Western United States. His time at Spear Street Capital came after serving in a similar role at The Shorenstein Company for many years. Prior to Shorenstein, Russ was an investment sales broker at Eastdil Secured focused on transactions in the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest. He began his real estate career at Hines as an investment manager working on its joint venture with CalPERS.

Russ is a current member and past president of the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of CREDA (formerly NAIOP).
